Made on nature’s terms – Honouring Finnish craftsmanship

A gift for a friend, a business partner, or a purchase for yourself can tell much more than it seems at first glance. At Tundra Natural, responsibility is not a trend or a marketing phrase – it is a way of working, guided by northern nature and respect for Finnish craftsmanship. Research shows that people increasingly value products that are practical, meaningful, and thoughtfully made. This applies equally to corporate gifts and personal choices. For us, responsibility means a complete journey – from nature to the moment a product is gifted or used.

Natural ingredients and Finnish handcraft

All Tundra Natural products are handmade in Northern Savonia, Finland, in small batches. We use as many locally sourced, hand-picked herbs and plants as possible. All our ingredients are approved for natural cosmetics and are safe, plant-based, and carefully selected.

We never use paraffin oil, silicones, plastics, or synthetic fragrances. Instead, the scents and colours of our products come directly from nature – from plants, minerals, berries, and herbs.

When an ingredient cannot be sourced in Finland, we prioritise suppliers within Europe to ensure transparent and traceable supply chains.

For us, handcraft is not just a method of production – it is a responsible choice. Making products by hand allows us to know exactly what goes into them and where each ingredient comes from. It is a way to stay connected to both nature and our customers.

All herbs, including wild heather, are hand-picked in Finland.

Sustainable packaging and small batches – Less Waste, more value

Responsibility is also visible in our packaging choices. We use recyclable cardboard, biodegradable sauna pouches, and compostable bio-based films. Most of our packaging is printed in Finland, and we reuse recycled boxes and filling materials in deliveries.

Small-batch production and precise formulation help us minimise waste. Leftover soap pieces are transformed into our popular Mini Soap products – a small but meaningful solution that saves resources and ensures that nothing goes to waste.

Surplus soap pieces are turned into travel-size mini soaps.

Health, safety and well-being

All Tundra Natural products are safety assessed by an independent professional and manufactured in accordance with EU cosmetic legislation. Our ingredients are chosen not only to meet regulatory requirements, but also for their genuine benefits to skin and well-being.

Responsibility, for us, is also a promise of care – we want our products to feel good for people, not just for the planet.

Social responsibility – Local work and future generations

Tundra Natural carries the Key Flag symbol, a Finnish mark that indicates products made in Finland with local labour and transparent production.

During the summer months, we employ local young people, often offering their first work experience. We collaborate with local artisans and small producers, keeping skills, value, and craftsmanship close to home.

Environmental responsibility – powered by the sun, guided by nature

Solar panels on our roof produce part of the energy we use, and all waste is recycled as efficiently as possible. Small-scale production allows us to grow thoughtfully and sustainably – not too much, but just enough.

Why Responsibility matters to the recipient

Responsibility is not only the maker’s concern. It also shapes how products are chosen and experienced.

Studies indicate that people value gifts that combine quality, practicality, and responsible production. At the same time, consumers are increasingly aware of sustainability claims and expect transparency rather than empty promises.

That is why we talk openly about how our products are made – with concrete actions, not grand words.

A choice that can be seen and felt

At Tundra Natural, responsibility is part of every product and every story. Every hand-picked herb, recycled package, and solar-powered production process reflects the same belief:

Responsibility is an action that leaves a positive trace – in nature, in people, and in everyday life.
